At ShowMe, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account at any time. This page explains the process and what happens to your information.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your ShowMe account using any of the following methods:

1 In-App Request

Open the ShowMe app → Go to ProfileSettingsAccountDelete Account. Follow the prompts to confirm your deletion request.

2 Email Request

Send an email to privacy@techfxsolutions.co.uk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered email address and full name for verification.

3 Written Request

Send a written request to our registered address:

ℹ️ Processing Time: Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon successful account deletion, the following personal data will be permanently removed from our systems:

🗑️ Account profile information
🗑️ Email address & phone number
🗑️ Profile photo
🗑️ Chat messages & communication logs
🗑️ Location history & GPS data
🗑️ Property viewing preferences
🗑️ Saved properties & searches
🗑️ Push notification tokens

Data Retained for Legal & Compliance Reasons

In accordance with UK legal requirements and our compliance obligations, certain data must be retained even after account deletion. This data is stored securely and only accessed when required by law.

⚠️ Important: The retention of this data is required by law for tax, financial, and regulatory compliance purposes. It cannot be deleted upon request but will be automatically purged after the retention period expires.
